God is Green, Green is Gorgeous

Genesis 1:31

"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good."

"Notice that God didn't call it useful. When He first saw His creation, God deemed it good (Gen. 1:10) even though humans weren't around to make use of anything. God doesn't need us to make His creation good. God also doesn't say it is beautiful, although you don't need to see many purple horizons to realize that we are immersed in unspeakable beauty. Beyond its beauty and utility, creation maintains value and worth."
